Daniel Apps is a Dharug Boorooberongal artist and designer whose creative talent was nurtured from a young age. Growing up in the bush on Yuin Country, west of Jervis Bay, Daniel’s artistic journey began with a passion for photography, design, and mixed media. His work reflects a deep connection to both his cultural heritage and the landscapes that shaped his upbringing.
This desire to create unique and vibrant artwork has seen Daniel’s creativity shine. He excelled in creative subjects through high school and went on to study communication design where he refined his skills in digital design. Daniel uses art as an escape from the pressures of city living to capture inspiring moments on canvas to stimulate the emotions of his audience.
Daniel has gained recognition both locally and internationally, with commissions for paintings at QT Auckland in collaboration with Nic Graham and Associates, as well as private collectors. His clients include the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), QT Hotels, and the Global Nature Positive Summit 2024.
